Where does the dog poo go after Scoop n Go cleans the yard?
Dog poo is collected from the agreed yard areas, bagged and placed in the customer's general waste bin. This keeps the service simple and practical while still removing the mess from the lawn.
If you have special access instructions or bin placement details, include them in your quote request.
The process in brief
- Dog waste is located and collected from all agreed yard areas
- Waste is double-bagged to prevent leakage and control odour
- Bags are placed in your general waste bin — not left on the ground or in any other location
- If your bin is not accessible, we agree on an arrangement before the first clean
Why we use your bin
Using your general waste bin keeps disposal local and aligned with standard household waste management. It avoids any need to transport waste off-site and keeps the service simple for everyone.
Some clients have specific preferences about which bin we use, or have a dedicated dog waste bin. We are happy to accommodate whatever works best for your setup. Include any special access notes or bin placement instructions when you send your quote request.
What about deodorising?
If you add deodorising to your service, an enzyme-based spray is applied after waste removal to the areas where dogs use most. This does not produce any waste for the bin — it breaks down bacteria in place and disperses naturally.
Any questions about what to expect from the service can be included in your quote request.
